Thanks to all our supporters and friends, the 2008 Harlequin-Whistle Stop Wine Tour was a huge success. Net proceeds from this event totaled over $98,000. Next year will be even better, so put it on your calendar, April 24, 2009.

Minimum Bid: $8,500 for two Adult Anglers and two children ( Age16 and under)

Enjoy a day with your friends feeding, grooming and learning to ride a horse. The kids will have a riding lesson and assist in basic horse care. A Veterinarian will teach about maintaining a healthy horse and a Ferrier will demonstrate how he shoes a horse. Hamburgers, chips and drinks will highlight the end of an adventurous afternoon.

Pack your bag because you and seven of your closest friends will be spending the night at the Lodge at Oak Island Hunting Club. enjoy your dinner prepared and served by Jill and Lee Boyer and Richard and Martha LaBorde. Get up early the next morning for a guided duck hunt for all eight hunters, after which breakfast is served.
Hunt will be on a mutually agreeable day.

Enjoy a weekend getaway for two to beautiful Sonoma Valley, California. You will enjoy a Friday and Saturday Night at the Geyserville Inn. Take a VIP Tour of two elite Sonoma Valley wineries, Dry Creek Vineyards and Michel -Schlumberger. Both tours include a private tasting. Also includes a $500 Gift Certificate from Continental Airlines. Please allow three weeks notice to both vineyards.

Arrive at the Marsh Club in time to enjoy the sunset with wine and appetizers out on the pier. Dinner will be hosted by Geralyn and Clayton Davis and Barbara and Henry Liles back at the Lundy-Davis Compound. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the view and ending with a restful night in one of the plush bedrooms with private bath. A leisurely breakfast will be served the next morning

A truly fine menu and surroundings… Enjoy dinner for eight guests hosted by Donna and Rick Richard and their home on Shellbeach Drive. The menu will be prepared by Harlequin Chefs. The main entrée will consist of three different cuts of beef: the Sirloin, Tenderloin and Ribeye and Nic Hunter will be on hand to discuss each different cut of beef and their individual qualities. Other featured items will include quail, lobster, Jumbo Lump Crab Meat and an array of other delicacies. Each course will be paired with wines from Wines Unlimited of New Orleans. Julie Cook will act as the evening's Sommelier. Each guest may choose one bottle of their favorite wine of the evening to take home and every one will take home complimentary wine openers and wine booklets. Dinner scheduled Monday - Thursday on a mutually agreeable day.

Enjoy a Sunday Saints Game (Any Sunday Game - Final Schedule Yet to be Announced) in the Harlequin Lounge with the Big Screen TV. Your Saints' Party will also include a fully stocked bar with a bartender at your disposal, a full table of appetizers, and Harlequin Hamburgers, Baked Potatoes, and French Fries at Half time. Included with this package: 10 New Orleans Saints hats.

Overnight at the Liles' Lake House at Pelican Point at Big Lake for three Fishermen. Start the day off with a fishing trip guided by Alvin Winfrey of Associated Outfitters. After your day on the lake, return to the Lake House for a special dinner prepared by Henry and Stephen Liles where you can swap fish stories over drinks and cards all evening. A continental breakfast will top off your relaxing weekend before you head back to the hustle and bustle of town.
